Networking and preparation can bolster a legal career

Esfuerzo was founded with the intention of giving first-generation students access to the tools necessary to succeed in law school. Esfuerzo means “effort” in Spanish, a quality that first-gen students display in their pursuit of higher education.

Esfuerzo aims to support students beginning in high school, college and beyond. Much of the more technical programming will be beneficial to those considering applying to law school.

High School Students

It is never to early to start thinking about law school. Gaining exposure to different areas that may intersect with the law is one way to gain experience that will supplement a legal career.

College Students

We aim to supplement a students’ university’s resources to optimize a law school application. College students can benefit from mentors in law school and beyond, as well as be mentors to high school students.

Graduate Students and Professionals

Not everyone is sure they want to pursue a legal career right out of college. We offer support for graduate students and professionals preparing their law school applications.
